Man kills self in Malad (E)

MUMBAI: A 40-year-old man ended his life at his Malad (E) residence on Tuesday morning, allegedly due to depression.
The police said that Ramchandra Sahani, a resident of Banjari Pada in Kurar village, hanged himself around 10 am.
“A native of Uttar Pradesh, he worked as a daily wage labourer. On Monday morning, neighbours found his body hanging from the ceiling fan in his room,” senior inspector Mohan Sankhe said.
Police officials said that Sahani was lonely and depressed after his wife died recently.
